Want to make Dosa Corner like dosas? Check this authentic recipe out that I found way back in the 90’s and it still happens to hold true. Simple and very easy, this recipe only needs a handful of ingredients and a day’s time!
Ingredients
- Moong dal – 2 cups
- Ginger – 1 inch piece
- Green chilies – 8
- Salt – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
Procedure
- Soak moong dal overnight
- Blend soaked moong daal with green chilies, a piece of ginger and 2 teaspoon of salt.
- To the batter, add cumin seeds and give it a mix again.
- Heat a girdle, sprinkle some water and check whether it sizzles.
- Pour one tbsp of batter and spread it to a round going out.
- Lower the flame and let it turn golden brown
- Add a teaspoon of oil at the edges
- Fold and serve with chutney or topping of your choice.
