A fancy shmancy dish for lovers, this is definitely not for the faint tooth! Our special Valentine cookies is a burst of sugar and crisp that makes up for a delicious packable treats- a perfect solution when it comes to Valentine’s Day cookies. We are using a classic Valentines cookie recipe that you can find here, but you can use any cookie recipe that works for you well. After all, the ingredients do depend on the climate or region where you are baking it. The main knock off in Valentine cookies is the colors and the flavors. So we guess, its going to come along quite as an “easy valentine day recipeâ.
Ingredients:
– A batch of your favorite cookies: use vanilla base, but any
– 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
– 1/2 cup shortening
– 5 tablespoons milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Food coloring
Procedure :
– In a bowl, add confectioners sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla extract and mix well. Now divide the mixture into 3-4 bowls or depending on how many colors you intend to use. With a spatula or a spoon back, pour and smoothen the frosting on top of the cookie and sprinkle with heart shaped sprinklers.
