This recipe will always remain special to me because it’s the first that my Grandmother taught me when I was 11 years old. For a curious kid who insisted on making sweets on a summer holiday, what could have been simpler than 7 measures of different ingredients and stirring them all up to make an awesome dish. I make this recipe almost every month, give it to friends and it’s a quick fix when you don’t have time to make an elaborate dessert.
I can never have enough of it.
So here’s the recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 cup ghee
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup besan
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients and keep stirring till it leaves the sides of the pan. Pour it into a greased tin and garnish with chopped cashew nuts. Allow it to settle and cut it into squares. Now put a piece into your mouth and enjoy!!
Preparation time: 30 minutes
