Ingredients:
- country chicken 1/2kg
- pepper 1spoon
- onion 2
- tomato 2
- ginger garlic paste 2 spoon
- cardamon
- cinnamon
- cloves
- bayleaf
- cumin seeds
- curry leaves
- coriander leves
- salt
- oil
Things to grind:fry and grind the following items
- onion 2
- red chilly 10
- tomato 2
- grated coconut 1cup
- pepper 1 spoon
- cinnamon,cloves,bay leaf,cumin,cardomon(1 in each)
- curry leaf
[fry the above items and make it like a paste]
- oil 2 spoon(to fry)
Procedure:
Take one thick bottomed tava and add 5 table spoon oil in it and then add 1 clove, 1 spoon pepper, 1/2 spoon cumin seeds, 1 bay leaf, curry leaf, 1 cardamom and allow it to fry for sometime. To this add finely chopped onion, fry well and add ginger garlic paste. Fry until it gets a nice aroma and add chopped tomato. Mix it well. After this add 1/2kg chicken. Mix well and let it simmer lid on. After the chicken gets cooked thoroughly add the grinded mixture with half glass of water n close the lid for 10 min. Garnish with curry leaves n coriander leaves. Delicious chettinad country chicken pepper fry is ready now.
