Ingredients
1 kg minced mutton
4 finely chopped onions
6-8 chopped green chillies
4 – 6 tsp garam masala
2 tsp red chili powder
3 beaten eggs
3 cups besan
1 cup oil
3 tsp raw papaya (makes the meat tender and keeps it firm)
Mint leaves
Chat masala
Salt to taste
Procedure
- Mix the minced mutton, finely chopped onions, chopped chilies, garam masala, chili powder and salt.
- Let the mixture marinate for 6 hourspaste, 2 tsp red chili powder together, 1 tsp haldi powder
- Once the mixture marinates and you are ready to cook, add the besan and beat the dough till it tightens and all the ingredients mix properly
- You can then make round balls or simply press mutton on skewers till it forms a cylindrical shape
- Shallow fry this mixture for 6 to 8 minutes (light brown)
- Sprinkle chat masala on the kebabs and Serve with chopped onion and mint leaves.
- Coriander and mint chutney serves as a great side dish
